If at first you don’t succeed, try again later?

I added a bookshelf to my Goodreads today. I called it “Try again later.” These are books that I don’t want to abandon, but I just can’t focus on them right now.

The first book I added to this list was Suspicious Minds by Gwenda Bond. I’ve been trying to read it now for about a month, and I just get any momentum. I think I’ll try again later.

The next book I added was Unearthed by Amie Kaufman and Meagan Spooner. Shelving this book for now is all about time-management and the desire to finish a couple of the other books I am currently reading.

The last book that I added today was Tunnels by Roderick Gordon and Brian Williams. I really want to come back to this book soon, because I’m really excite about reading it to the kids. This book kicks of a fantastic tale of an adventure to a world within our world (an inner-earth), or at least that’s what I think it’s about. We’ll get back to this one soon, but we need to finish reading Alcatraz and the Evil Librarians by Brandon Sanderson first.

  1. Tunnels was for many years my favorite book by far, sadly I never finished the series as the publishers in Portugal never translated past the fourth book and by the time I was young and didn’t know english.

I may reread the books one of these days and finally finish the series.

Just a thing, as the story [progresses], the narrative gets darker and darker (like, a lot) and if your kids are too young I would skip these parts!

    Have a nice reading!
